Sub-Bass

20-60 Hz
Felt, not heard. Kick drum body, sub-bass energy.

Low-Mid

60-250 Hz

Midrange

250 Hz-2 kHz
Vocals, guitars, snare, piano. The heart of the mix.

2-6 kHz
Presence, attack, harshness zone. Where ears fatigue.
